Jon Rosenthal

Jon has deep expertise in the creation and monetization of intellectual property.  As a corporate associate at King & Spalding he drafted many patent and trademark licensing agreements.  He successfully marketed and lead the sale of Florikan’s controlled release fertilizer patents to Simplot.  As part of this transaction, he negotiated a license of the patent back to Florikan for its exclusive use in its territories.  Simplot then hired Jon to travel to 13 foreign countries and further license the technology to users in foreign markets.

 

Under Jon’s leadership, Florikan was issued five additional patents each of which were monetized when the company was sold to Profile Products in 2021.  Jon has transactional experience with intellectual property exceeding $100 million.
