JICA新会員になりました。先日初めてのJICA会議に出席にされてました。JICAは、日本の政府開発援助（ODA）を一元的に行う実施機関として、開発途上国への国際協力を行っています。「すべての人々が恩恵を受けるダイナミックな開発」というビジョンを掲げ、多様な援助手法のうち最適な手法を使い、地域別・国別アプローチと課題別アプローチを組み合わせて、開発途上国が抱える課題解決を支援していきます。
I'm happy to announce that I was invited to become a member of JICA. I attended my first JICA meeting yesterday. For those of you who are not familiar with JICA, the following is a description of JICA taken from the homepage: "JICA was established as an Incorporated Administrative Agency under the Act of the Incorporated Administrative Agency - Japan International Cooperation Agency (Act No. 136, 2002), JICA aims to contribute to the promotion of international cooperation as well as the sound development of Japanese and global economy by supporting the socioeconomic development, recovery or economic stability of developing regions."
