金曜日米国大使HaggertyさんのACCJウェルカムパーティ出席されてました。 Haggertyさんは日本と日米によって三点の目的があります。一つは日本日米貿易増える、二つは日本日米留学生も益々、ミは北朝鮮の問題を何としても解決する。
This Friday 9/29 I attended the ACCJ welcome back party for the US Ambassador Tim Haggerty held at the Grand Hyatt in Roppongi. Ambassador Haggerty outlined the focus of his mission for his tenure. First, he would like to focus on increasing trade between the US and Japan. Next he mentioned that the number of foreign exchange students between the US and Japan has decreased considerably over the last few years, and he would like to focus on increasing that number. Finally, he discussed the ongoing situation with North Korea, and that the US is dedicated to working together with Japan and other stakeholders in the region to resolve the situation by any means necessary. It was great to welcome Ambassador Haggerty back to Japan, and we are all looking forward to working together with him during his Ambassadorship.
